Johnny Williamson, MD is board certified in General Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He has a vast background in the field and has practiced for over 21 years. He has an extensive history of providing mental health services in all levels of care, including inpatient treatment, residential care, intensive outpatient services, community-based treatment, forensic cases and private practice. He has a breadth of experience treating children and adults of all ages. He provides psychotherapy and psychotropic medication management to treat attention deficit disorders, autism, anxiety, mood disorders, bipolar disorder, school phobia, and specializes in the treatment of PTSD and eating disorders. He believes in a holistic approach that combines appropriate therapeutic modalities treating individuals, families, and groups; and, where indicated, effective medication strategies.
