Marina Castelli-Joos is specialized in corporate and commercial law. She has been involved in several Swiss landmark corporate acquisitions throughout her career and has extensive experience working in various economic sectors.

Marina Castelli-Joos advises clients, ranging from multinational companies to SMEs and start-ups, large family offices and venture capital funds, in relation to domestic and cross-border corporate and commercial transactions. Such matters include M&A, business transfers, corporate restructurings, private equity, venture capital, debt financing, exit transactions, as well as commercial contracts. She also advises clients in relation to their day-to-day business activities, as well as corporate governance matters.

Prior to joining id est avocats, Marina Castelli was a senior attorney in a major Swiss law firm. She regularly publishes in Swiss and foreign specialized journals and gives lectures in her fields of practice. Marina Castelli was formerly the lead Swiss law expert for several chapters of the World Bank Doing Business Report. She obtained her law degrees from the University of Geneva (valedictorian and summa cum laude) and accomplished part of her studies at Harvard Law School.

Marina Castelli-Joos is admitted to practice before all Swiss courts. She works in English and French and speaks Spanish, German and Italian.
