Before joining id est avocats as a junior associate (avocate-stagiaire), Jessie Merz worked for more than a year in the intellectual property team of the legal department of a major luxury group based in Geneva, as a junior lawyer. Prior to that, Jessie Merz worked as a trainee lawyer for 6 months at the Transfer Technology Office of a Swiss polytechnic engineering school.

With a particular interest in intellectual property law, commercial law and new technology law, Jessie Merz specialized in commercial law and intellectual property law by completing the Master in Innovation, SMEs and Intellectual Property at the University of Neuchâtel.

Jessie Merz works in French and English. She has a good knowledge of Spanish.
